1. CONUNDRUM
/kəˈnʌndrəm/ (noun)
a confusing and difficult problem or question.
गोरखधंधा, पहेली(f), प्रहेलिका,समस्या(f),
श्‍लेष-पहेली
• "one of the most difficult conundrums for the experts"

2. CAVE IN
1.to fall in
अंदर गिर जाना या धँस जाना
• The roof of the tunnel had caved in and we could go no further.
2. to suddenly stop arguing or being against something

एकाएक बहस या विरोध समाप्‍त कर देना; हार मान लेना
• He finally caved in and agreed to the plan.

3. INHIBIT
इन्ˈहिबिट्‌ (verb)
1. to prevent something or make something happen more slowly
किसी बात को रोकना या उसकी गति को मंद कर देना; निषेध करना, अवरोध करना
• a drug to inhibit the growth of tumour.
2.to make somebody nervous and embarrassed so that he/she is unable to do something
किसी को चिंतित और परेशान कर देना (कि वह कुछ कर न सके)
• The fact that her boss was there inhibited her from saying what she really felt.

4. IRREFUTABLE
ˌइरिˈफ़्‌यूटब्‌ल् (adjective)
(used about a statement, argument, idea etc.) that cannot be proved wrong and must be accepted
(कथन, विचार आदि) जिसे ग़लत सिद्ध न किया जा सके तथा जिसे स्वीकारा जाना चाहिए; अकाटय; अखंडनीय
• irrefutable proof

5. PLAUSIBLE

that you can believe; reasonable
विश्‍वसनीय; तर्कसंगत
a plausible excuse

6. RESTITUTION
ˌरे᠎̮स्‌टिˈट्‌यूश्‌न्‌ (noun)
the act of giving back something that was lost or stolen to its owner
खोई या चुराई हुई वस्‍तु की उसके मालिक को वापसी

2.(in law) payment, usually money, for some harm or wrong that somebody has suffered
(क़ानून में) चोट आदि के लिए व्‍यक्ति को मुआवज़ा

7. REINFORCE

to make something stronger
अधिक मज़बूत करना, सुदृढ़ करना

8. RESCIND

कुछ होने या किसी विशिष्‍ट गुण से युक्त होने का आभास।

2. occurring later than expected, देर से होनेवाला, विलंबित ।
