गजानन माधव ‘मुक्तिबोध’ – भूल-गलती (कविता)

गजानन माधव ‘मुक्तिबोध’ जी का आधुनिक युग में ‘प्रगतिवाद’ और ‘प्रयोगवादी’ कविताओं में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। उन्हें प्रगतिवाद और नई कविता के बीच का ‘सेतु’ भी माना जाता है। गजानन माधव ‘मुक्तिबोध’ का संपूर्ण काव्य ‘फैंटसी’ शिल्प पर आधारित है। मुक्तिबोध अपने आप में एक अनूठे कवि थे। उनके जैसा उनके पहले कोई कवि नहीं मिलता है और आगे भी इस परंपरा का कोई कवि नहीं दीख रहा है। मुक्तिबोध जी ने 200 के करीब छोटी-बड़ी और लंबी महाकाव्यात्मक कविताएँ लिखी है। मुक्तिबोध की पहचान उनकी लम्बी कविताओं से ही है। सबसे बड़ी बिडम्बना यह है कि इनके जीवन में इनकी कोई भी सग्रह प्रकाशित नहीं हुई थी। ‘भूल-गलती’ नामक कविता उनके काव्य संग्रह ‘चाँद का मुँह टेढ़ा’ में 1964 में प्रकाशित हुई थी। इस कविता संग्रह की भूमिका में शमशेरबहादुर सिंह जी ने संकेत किया है कि मुक्तिबोध की कविता की सबसे प्रमुख विशिष्टता नये और प्राणवान बिम्बों का निर्माण है।

आज हमारे समाज में भ्रष्टाचार और अनैतिकता बढ़ती ही जा रही है, जिससे हमारे हृदय की कोमल भावनाएँ इनके नीचे पीसती ही जा रही है। साहित्य में भी इस तरह की चिंता को समय-समय पर व्यक्त किया जाता रहा है। गजानन माधव मुक्तिबोध इसी विचार को लेकर भूल-गलती नामक कविता की रचना करते है। इस कविता में वे भूल-गलती या भ्रष्टाचार को किसी राजा या शहंशाह की तरह चित्रित करते हैं, जिसके दरबार में समाज के सभी वर्गों के लोग सिर झुकाकर खड़े है। दरबार में सत्य और इमान को जंजीरों में बांधकर लाया जाता है। भ्रष्टाचार रूपी राजा को लोगों की कमजोरियों से ही शक्ति मिलती है। जिससे वह निरंतर और भी अधिक बलशाली होता चला जाता है, लेकिन कवि पूरी तरह से निराशावादी नहीं है। वे इस कविता के द्वारा आशा व्यक्त करते हैं कि कभी न कभी किसी न कसी व्यक्ति की आत्मा जरूर जगेगा और तब वह क्रांति के रास्ते पर चलने लगेगा और उसके पीछे-पीछे सारा समाज भी चलने लगेगा इस तरह बुराई का नाश हो जाएगा।

भूल-गलती
आज बैठी है जिरहबख्तर पहनकर
तख्त पर दिल के;
चमकते हैं खड़े हथियार उसके दूर तक,
आँखें चिलकती हैं नुकीले तेज पत्थर सी,
खड़ी हैं सिर झुकाए
          सब कतारें
                   बेजुबाँ बेबस सलाम में,
अनगिनत खंभों व मेहराबों-थमे
                           दरबारे आम में।

सामने
बेचैन घावों की अजब तिरछी लकीरों से कटा
चेहरा
कि जिस पर काँप
दिल की भाप उठती है…
पहने हथकड़ी वह एक ऊँचा कद
समूचे जिस्म पर लत्तर
झलकते लाल लंबे दाग
बहते खून के।

वह कैद कर लाया गया ईमान…
सुलतानी निगाहों में निगाहें डालता,
बेखौफ नीली बिजलियों को फेंकता
खामोश !!
                        सब खामोश
मनसबदार,
शाइर और सूफी,
अल गजाली, इब्ने सिन्ना, अलबरूनी
आलिमो फाजिल सिपहसालार, सब सरदार
                         हैं खामोश !!
नामंजूर,
उसको जिंदगी की शर्म की सी शर्त
नामंजूर
हठ इनकार का सिर तान…खुद-मुख्तार
कोई सोचता उस वक्त –
छाये जा रहे हैं सल्तनत पर घने साये स्याह,
सुलतानी जिरहबख्तर बना है सिर्फ मिट्टी का,
वो-रेत का-सा ढेर-शाहंशाह,
शाही धाक का अब सिर्फ सन्नाटा !!

मेरी आपकी कमजोरियों के स्याह
लोहे का जिरहबख्तर पहन, खूँख्वार
हाँ खूँख्वार आलीजाह,
वो आँखें सचाई की निकाले डालता,
सब बस्तियाँ दिल की उजाड़े डालता
करता हमें वह घेर
बेबुनियाद, बेसिर-पैर…
हम सब कैद हैं उसके चमकते तामझाम में
                               शाही मुकाम में !!

इतने में हमीं में से
अजीब कराह-सा कोई निकल भागा
भरे दरबारे-आम में मैं भी
सँभल जागा
कतारों में खड़े खुदगर्ज-बा-हथियार
बख्तरबंद समझौते
सहमकर, रह गए,
दिल में अलग जबड़ा, अलग दाढ़ी लिए,
दुमुँहेपन के सौ तजुर्बों की बुजुर्गी से भरे,
दढ़ियल सिपहसालार संजीदा
                      सहमकर रह गये !!

लेकिन, उधर उस ओर,
कोई, बुर्ज के उस तरफ जा पहुँचा,
अँधेरी घाटियों के गोल टीलों, घने पेड़ों में
कहीं पर खो गया,
महसूस होता है कि यह बेनाम
बेमालूम दर्रों के इलाके में
(सचाई के सुनहले तेज अक्सों के धुँधलके में)
मुहैया कर रहा लश्कर;
हमारी हार का बदला चुकाने आएगा
संकल्प-धर्मा चेतना का रक्तप्लावित स्वर,
हमारे ही हृदय का गुप्त स्वर्णाक्षर
प्रकट होकर विकट हो जायगा !!

 इस कविता में मुक्तिबोध जी ने दरबार का अत्यंत जीवंत बिम्ब बनाया है। मुक्तिबोध की लम्बी कविताओं में दृश्यों के बाद दृश्य रहते हैं लेकिन इस कविता में एक ही दृश्य के इर्द-गिर्द समूची कविता गढ़ी गई है। नई कविता में कवि की काव्य भाषा भी खास होती है। उसमे शब्द, बिम्ब और अर्थ एक दूसरे के साथ माला की तरह गुंथे हुए होते हैं। भूल-गलती कविता में फ़ारसी शब्दावली के जरिए मध्ययुगीन वातावरण का निर्माण किया गया है। कविता में बादशाह और कैदी की कथा उतनी ही प्रधानता से चलती रहती है जितनी की प्रधानता से भूल और ईमान की कथा। जयशंकर प्रसाद की कामायनी का विश्लेषण करते हुए मुक्तिबोध ने एक जगह कहा था कि कथा के प्राचीनता के आवरण को चीरकर रह-रह कर प्रसाद के समय का सत्य झाँका जाता है। उसी तरह इस कविता में मध्ययुगीन वातावरण और मनोवैज्ञानिक आवरण को चीरकर मुक्तिबोध के सत्य दिखाई देने लगता है। मुक्तिबोध के सभी कविताओं की विशेषता है, लयात्मक होना। यह लय पानी की लहरों की तरह निरंतर एक विशेष आरोह अवरोह क्रम में चलता रहता है। निराला जी ने कहा है कि ऐसी कविताओं का सौंदर्य ‘आर्ट ओफ़ रीडिंग’ के जरिए खुलता है। इस कविता में उन्होंने फ़ारसी शब्दावली का प्रयोग प्रचुर मात्रा में प्रयोग किया है। समूची कविता की अंतिम चार पंक्तियों में एक भी फ़ारसी शब्द नहीं आया है। यही मुक्तिबोध की स्वाभाविक भाषा है। धूमिल के शब्दों में कोई भी कविता सबसे पहले सार्थक वक्तव्य होती है।” इस कविता के अंतिम पंक्तियों में उसी तरह के वक्तव्य के जरिए कवि का आशावाद दिखाई देता है।
